Pet First Aid and CPR Course
Sunday, January 7th, 1:00 - 5:00pm

On Sunday, Jan. 7, a Pet First Aid and CPR course will be held at our facility at 5712-D Industry Lane in Frederick from 1-5 p.m. Please contact the office to register to attend, as the seats fill up quickly! Lynne Bettinger, an American Red Cross certified pet first aid trainer will be teaching the course. The class is beneficial to anyone who cares for animals and wants to learn how to provide aid to pets during an emergency. Students will receive a certificate and reference materials at the conclusion of the class. Call the FCHS at (301) 694-8300, ext. 0. The fee is $50. The snow date for the course is Sunday, Jan. 14.

Pet Bereavement Counseling
Wednesday, January 17th, 7:00pm

Come speak with a professional therapist and others going through grief about the pain of losing our four-legged friends.
No fee, but please register for a space.

2006 Annual Membership Meeting
Wednesday, January 24th, 7:00pm

Attention all FCHS Members!

Mark your calendar and plan to attend the 2006 Annual Membership Meeting!

The meeting will be held Wednesday, January 24th at 7 p.m. here at our facility.

The agenda will include an annual overview of the organization by Board President Mindy Hanlon and ED Brigitte Farrell. Eligible FCHS members will be able to vote for new board members.

We are excited to be hosting our guest speaker from the Humane Society of the U.S.! Cory Smith will speak to us about a variety of current animal welfare issues! This promises to be a fascinating discussion so be sure and join us!
