Some suggestions for finding your pet:

• Dogs will run, particularly if scared. Walk or drive through your surrounding area and neighboring areas, calling their name and shaking a box of treats.
• Cats tend to stay close to home. Contact your neighbors and ask them to keep an eye out for your cat in their yard. Check under bushes and in sheds.
• Post flyers in your neighborhood, at the local grocery store, in nearby vets offices and at our office.
• Feeding time and just before and after dark are often the best times to look for your pet. Shake a box of food or treats and call their name
• Check periodically at Frederick County Animal Control, in case your pet has been found and turned in there as a stray
