The Frederick County Humane Society holds Rabies/Microchipping Clinics. All clinics are held at its facility .

Dates for the 2012, Rabies/Microchip Clinics will be determined in January of 2012. Please check back.

Clinic Hours at Our Facility - 1 to 3:30 p.m., 217 West Patrick St., Frederick. Registration closes at 3:30 sharp.


Fees are as follows:
$8 Rabies Shot*
$25 Microchip, including registration paperwork**
*Pet owners wishing to obtain a three-year rabies voucher must present proof of previous rabies. This documentation can be obtained from your pet’s vet. A rabies tag is not acceptable as proof.

** Microchips are provided by HomeAgain, the nation’s leading manufacturer of the microchip. Microchips are a form of permanent ID that can be scanned if your pet is lost or stolen; your registration information is entered into a nationwide database and will help reunite you with your pet.
